Ecuador flag coloring page
Ecuador uses three horizontal bands: a wide yellow band on top that fills half the flag, then blue and red bands of equal size. The tricolour was first set by law in 1835 and again in 1860, and the coat of arms was added to the center in 1900.

About the flag of Ecuador
What it means: Yellow stands for the crops and fertile soil, blue for the ocean and clear skies, and red for the blood of heroes who died for the homeland and freedom.
Did you know? General Francisco de Miranda, who chose these colors, said they were inspired by a conversation with the German writer Goethe about primary colors.
