Egypt flag coloring page
Egypt flies a red, white and black tricolour in three equal horizontal bands, with a golden eagle in the middle of the white band. The stripes come from the flag of the 1952 revolution, and the eagle of Saladin replaced an earlier hawk emblem in 1984.

About the flag of Egypt
What it means: Red recalls blood shed against colonial rule, white the purity of Egyptian hearts, and black the overcoming of darkness. The eagle links back to the Egyptian vulture of ancient times.
Did you know? The same red, white and black stripes are used by Iraq, Sudan and Yemen, each with its own emblem in the white band.
