About the flag of Niger
What it means: Meanings are unofficial. Orange is often said to stand for the Sahara, white for the Sahel, green for the fertile south, and the circle for the sun.
Did you know? The flag's shape is closer to a square than most flags, and no one knows why that ratio was chosen.
