About the flag of the Central African Republic
What it means: Blue stands for liberty, white for peace and dignity, green for hope and faith, and yellow for tolerance. The red band represents shared human blood, and the star a bright future.
Did you know? Boganda first proposed the design in 1957 for a hoped-for union of African states, not just one country.
