About the flag of Lesotho
What it means: The design is meant to show a country at peace within itself and with its neighbor South Africa. The hat was made black to stand for Lesotho as a black nation.
Did you know? The first flag of Lesotho in 1966 also showed a mokorotlo hat, but that one was white instead of black.
