About the flag of the Marshall Islands
What it means: The rising band represents the equator, with the star showing the islands lie north of it. White and orange stand for the Ratak and Ralik island chains, and for peace and courage.
Did you know? The star has 24 points, the most on any national flag, one for each electoral district.
