About the flag of the Solomon Islands
What it means: Blue is for water, from rivers and rain to the Pacific. Green is for the land and its trees and crops. Yellow is for the sun. The five stars first stood for the provinces.
Did you know? New provinces have been created since 1977, but the flag still keeps its original five stars.
