About the flag of Tuvalu
What it means: The nine stars represent Tuvalu's nine islands, placed like a map. Yellow and blue reflect the islands in the ocean, and the Union Jack stands for ties to the United Kingdom.
Did you know? The stars are arranged like a map of Tuvalu's islands, turned so that north points toward the flagpole.
